Minimalism of the Mouth: The Mastery of Silence

I write this post from the standpoint of a fledgling, not a master.

Having come thus far with material minimalism, I now choose to tackle chatter:  accumulation and excess of the mouth and the mind.

I CHOOSE THE ART OF SILENCE

This will not be a diet where I hold my tongue.  It will be a strategic, yet non-violent, war.  My weapons are alertness, acceptance and acute awareness. My sharpening instruments are reflection and readjustment.  My focus is stillness, especially in the midst of chaos.

Listening and observing intently will be mastered.

Criticism and judgment will be conquered.

Living richly in the moment will become a way of life.
